2012 Edition

The 4th Edition of the Team Game Development Competition had its final on June 28, 2012. 10 teams who presented demo versions of computer games, designed and made according to original ideas, participated in the event. The Competition took place under the patronage of Rector Prof. Eng. Stanisław Bielecki, Ph.D. The main prize was a cup funded by the Rector of the Lodz University of Technology. The Competition's sponsors were companies from the computer games industry: AT Games, CDProjekt, One2Tribe, Teyon, Vivid Games and Wastelands Interactive, which funded prizes, awards and internships for the best students. The Polish Information Processing Society also sponsored the event by funding the money prize.

The Jury consisted of 15 members, including 9 representatives of the computer games industry, 1 representative of the Polish Information Processing Society and 5 representatives of the Institute of Information Technology of the University of Lodz - the organizer of the competition. They were:

The Jury decided to award the first place and the main prize to the Bojowe Bażanty team composed of: Michał Olejnik, Artur Libich, Adam Dębski, Kamil Szreter, Maciej Białek, Rafał Jędrzejewski, and their game "Iron Noir".

On behalf of the Jury, additional distinction awards were also given:

- the Work In Progress team composed of Arkadiusz Antonik, Łukasz Kowalczyk, Damian Cygulski, Anna Wlazeł, Agnieszka Bilecka and Agata Cichosz for the technical achievements of their game "COMA"

- the Valkyrie Studio team composed of Tomasz Truszkowski, Tomasz Klucha, Dariusz Malec, Michał Głąbicki, Jakub Włodarczy, and Marcin Wieczorkowski for the storyline consistency and playability of their game "Story of the Viking"

- the Miśki team made up of: Tomasz Ronikier, Ryszard Szyszko, Szymon Woźniak, Tomasz Skorczyński, Michał Krajewski, Kamil Woźnicki for the original idea of their game " Miś".
