The Conference on Game Innovations provides a unique platform for university-industry cooperation in the field of video game development. The aim of the conference, which is the first event of this kind in Poland, is to popularise the key research focus areas specified by industry leaders and outlined in the GAMEINN sectoral programme announced by the National Centre for Research and Development on 26 April 2016.
The conference is a direct response to the needs of the game sector representatives and the Polish Games Alliance which are seeking university partners for joint innovative projects.
The meeting provides a unique opportunity for the representatives of the academic community to present their expertise in the areas of activity specified in the GAMEINN programme. It is also a chance for video game developers to specify their current and future focus areas and stimulate research in those fields.
The conference is held under the patronage of the National Centre for Research and Development, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), the Polish Cybernetics Society, the Polish Information Processing Society, Klaster GameDev and Gazeta Wyborcza.
